Amanda, my niece who's blog link is off to the right under "Amanda & Taylor" enjoys finding old pictures and posting them. I thought I'd show her this one. Left to right, Lisa, Laurie (Amanda's mother), Mom (or G-rents as Amanda calls her), and Favorite Aunt Kim.

I was probably 7 or 8 in this picture, but I don't remember posing for it - I do remember that hideous sweater Lisa is wearing. I never liked it, too furry and itchy. Also, please appreciate the curls, which were achieved by sleepless nights in pink sponge curlers wound too tightly.

G'ma and G'pa or G-rents, yeah... Lol you didn't like Lisa's sweater? Did you have to wear it or something? You and my mom look the same! Very cute/ pretty picture! Did Gpa take that?

Comment #2 haha, Gma usta wet my hair and put those green velcro rollers in my hair. And then I would go play or something and wait for my hair to dry so we could go to the movies or the mall with perfect roll shaped bangs, if you notice in the pics I posted I'm sure she did them that day too. Good times. lol

Doesn't it? Gma always says "you're just like Kim when she was your age" or "you look just like Kim" I always loved hearing that. I still say it today to Taylor. I think it's cool I look like my favorite aunt!

Cute picture. I used to use those pink sponge curlers too. We kept them in an empty cool whip plastic container. I might even use them on Hallie when she gets older and has more hair.

Too cute! I used to do the sponge rollers. I loved how it always made my hair look like Shirley Temples!! LOL

This is your mother speaking -- here I worked my fingers to the bone trying to make curls and you didn't even want them. I'm simply crushed!
I remember the picture - Herschel was out of town that year and I took y'all to a photographer up on East Lancaster (the same one who did our wedding photos). Mother had been wanting a picture of me with my girls and it became our Christmas card that year. Love you all, Mom.

You know you rolled my hair in sponge curlers too! Except I liked my hair curly. Thanks mom.

What a neat picture. Are the pink sponge rollers out? I still use those on Kennedi occaionally. She's not one for the tight curls though. Now the Straightner is in. What next?
