Ron & Kim's 28th Anniversary

Part 1

The last three anniversary's have been spent on Lake Powell, so I'm glad we're home today to officially celebrate. Ron is amazing. He can fix anything. To say he's a hard worker is an understatement. He loves to make me happy. He is pretty easy going. And he has been a great father. It is really weird to think it's been 28 years. I can't wait to see what the next 28 will bring. For the kids, here's a review in pictures. There are a lot of pictures, so this is just the basics. And a few of the girls asked that I not do Slide shows anymore because they can never copy the pictures, and if you have the blog printed, the slide show pictures don't show up. So sorry these posts are kind of long - but I guess 28 years is kind of long too. I love you, Ron!

I think we've spent at least 20 summers at Lake Powell.

Ron & I really have traveled quite a bit. We've been on five cruises. Visited at least 13 states and four foreign countries.
Ron & I have attended 13 temples in all of our travels.

Brad and Kara Moved

Hallie woke up Saturday morning to an almost-empty apartment.
She waved goodbye to the only home she'd ever known (Brad & Kara's second apartment)

She waved goodbye to the cactus

and took a six-hour ride in the car.

This is Hallie's new home.
Hallie thinks her daddy's friends brought her lots of boxes to play with. She's glad Uncle Matt drove a trailer down and helped move her crib so carefully.

While she lives in San Diego, her daddy will be busy studying here.

Hallie is also looking forward to walking across the street with her mommy and visiting this store. Guess what, this store is also right across the street. Hallie will have endless opportunities for brousing when the house needs to be quiet for daddy to study.

Have fun unpacking Hallie, give your mom & dad lots of kisses from us.

To Litany,

Please, update your blog.

New times (and gas prices) call for new ettiquette. Why drive across town to congratulate and see beautiful little Jaxson in person, when I could read about him and see him on my computer? Update. Pictures. please.

Lake Powell
July 3-8

We were supposed to be there till the 8th. Jenn needed to come home on Sunday to go to girls' camp. Sickness hit Matt's family on Saturday, by Sunday morning they had had enough fun and left a couple of days early. Finally on Monday, Ron & I left to get back to work. It was a short and sweet trip, but we sure had a great time while we were all there. We missed Scotty, the lake wasn't the same without him.
